English translation
1353. It was narrated that Qatādah said: "I asked Anas bin Mālik about the recitation of the Prophet ﷺ and he said: 'He used to elongate his voice.'" [Sahih][1]

1353 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «كَانَ يَمُدُّ صَوْتَهُ مَدًّا»
