English translation
1597. It was narrated from Abu Umâmah that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Allâh says: 'O son of Âdam! If you are patient and seek reward at the moment of first shock, I will not approve of any reward for you less than Paradise.'"(Hasan)

1597 - حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: يَقُولُ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ: «ابْنَ آدَمَ إِنْ صَبَرْتَ وَاحْتَسَبْتَ عِنْدَ الصَّدْمَةِ الْأُولَى، لَمْ أَرْضَ لَكَ ثَوَابًا دُونَ الْجَنَّةِ»

Commentary
The virtues of patience and its importance to Allâh appears from this Hadith, and that showing patience according to religious commandments will prove as a mean of deliverance.
