Commentary

Islamic principles always care for the weaknesses of human nature. Being forgetful is human nature; therefore Allāh did not count the deeds done forgetfully as sins. He shows extra mercy for validating a fast despite forgetful eating and drinking. This is the meaning of Allāh's feeding and giving drink.
