Commentary
The days of Tashriq are three days after the main day of 'Eidul-Adha i.e., the 11th, 12th and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah.
Fasting during the days of Tashriq is prohibited because it is contrary to the joy of 'Eid'.
A person who performs Hajj Tamattu' and cannot afford a sacrificial animal, is allowed to fast during the days of Tashriq.
