English translation

1881. It was narrated from Abu Musa that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: 'There is no marriage except with a guardian.' (Sahih)

Arabic text

1881 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيٍّ»
