Commentary

If a person is married to more than four women before embracing Islam, after embracing Islam he has the right to keep only four women in marriage, and he will necessarily divorce the rest. A person married to more than four women has the privilege to choose any four of them to keep in marriage bond, and there is no condition of choosing the first four or the last four.
