English translation

1982. It was narrated that 'Āishah said: "I used to play with dolls when I was with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, and he used to bring my friends to me to play with me." (Sahih)

Arabic text

1982 - حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْقَاضِي، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: «كُنْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ وَأَنَا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَكَانَ يُسَرِّبُ إِلَيَّ صَوَاحِبَاتِي يُلَاعِبْنَنِي»
