English translation

2338. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Make the path seven forearms length wide." (Sahih)

Arabic text

2338 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُثَنَّى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الضُّبَعِيُّ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اجْعَلُوا الطَّرِيقَ سَبْعَةَ أَذْرُعٍ»
