English translation

2436. It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet ﷺ bought some food from a Jew with payment to be made later, and he pawned his armor for that. (Sahih)

Arabic text

2436 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْأَسْوَدُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، اشْتَرَى مِنْ يَهُودِيٍّ طَعَامًا إِلَى أَجَلٍ، وَرَهَنَهُ دِرْعَهُ»
