English translation

2439. It was narrated from Ibn Abbās that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ died while his armor was pawned to a Jew for thirty Sā's of barley. (Hasan)

Arabic text

2439 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْجُمَحِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِلَالُ بْنُ خَبَّابٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مَاتَ وَدِرْعُهُ رَهْنٌ عِنْدَ يَهُودِيٍّ بِثَلَاثِينَ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ»
