English translation

2663. It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Whoever kills his slave, we will kill him, and whoever mutilates (his slave) we will mutilate him." (Hasan)

Arabic text

2663 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ قَتَلَ عَبْدَهُ قَتَلْنَاهُ، وَمَنْ جَدَعَهُ جَدَعْنَاهُ»
