English translation

2667. It was narrated from Nu'mân bin Bashir that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: "There is no retaliation except with the sword." (Da'if)

Arabic text

2667 - حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُسْتَمِرِّ الْعُرُوقِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَازِبٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا قَوَدَ إِلَّا بِالسَّيْفِ»
