Commentary

At that time Asmâ', the daughter of Umais, gave birth to Muhammad bin Abu Bakr. At first, she was married to Ja'far bin Abu Tâlib after his martyrdom, Abu Bakr got married to her, when he died, 'Ali took her as his wife, may Allâh be pleased with all of them. A menstruating woman, and the one who is in her postnatal period, should take the bath before entering in the state of Ihrâm.
