English translation
2913. It was narrated that Jâbir said: "Asmâ' bint 'Umais gave birth to Muhammad bin Abi Bakr and sent word to the Prophet ﷺ. He told her to take a bath, fasten a cloth around her private part and begin the Talbiyah." (Sahih)

2913 - عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: نُفِسَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ بِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ، وَتَسْتَثْفِرَ بِثَوْبٍ، وَتُهِلَّ»
