English translation

2937. It was narrated that Dubâ'ah said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ entered upon me when I was unwell. He said: 'Do you intend to perform Hajj this year?' I said: 'I am sick, O Messenger of Allâh.' He said: 'Go for Hajj and say: "I will exit Ihrâm from the point where I am prevented."'" (Sahih)

2937 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، وَوَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ ضُبَاعَةَ، قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا شَاكِيَةٌ، فَقَالَ: «أَمَا تُرِيدِينَ الْحَجَّ، الْعَامَ؟» قُلْتُ: إِنِّي لَعَلِيلَةٌ، يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " حُجِّي وَقُولِي: مَحِلِّي، حَيْثُ تَحْبِسُنِي "
