English translation

2941. It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet ﷺ entered Makkah by day. (Hasan)

Arabic text

2941 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْعُمَرِيُّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ نَهَارًا»

Commentary

The Prophet ﷺ stayed overnight at Dhi Tuwa and entered Makkah in the morning. (Sahih Al-Bukhârî, Hadith no. 1574)
