English translation

2991. It was narrated from Wahb bin Khanbash that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: "'Umrah during Ramadân is equivalent to Hajj (i.e. in reward)." (Sahih)

Arabic text

2991 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ، وَجَابِرٌ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ خَنْبَشٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «عُمْرَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ، تَعْدِلُ حَجَّةً»
