English translation

3038. It was narrated that Jâbir said: "We performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ, and there were women and children with us. We recited Talbiyah on behalf of the children and stoned the Pillars on their behalf." (Da'if)

Arabic text

3038 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: «حَجَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَمَعَنَا النِّسَاءُ وَالصِّبْيَانُ، فَلَبَّيْنَا عَنِ الصِّبْيَانِ، وَرَمَيْنَا عَنْهُمْ»
