Commentary

a. Modesty in eating and drinking is desirable. b. Anything that could be used with bread is considered broth; it is not compulsory to be a cooked dish. c. Simple food and broth is also a blessing of Allāh, so one should be thankful for that. d. Benefits of vinegar are proved medically, so it should be used as a part of a meal.
