English translation

3357. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbâs that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: "Goodness comes more quickly to a house where food is eaten than a knife to a camel's hump." (Da'if)

Arabic text

3357 - حَدَّثَنَا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ نَهْشَلٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْخَيْرُ أَسْرَعُ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي يُؤْكَلُ فِيهِ، مِنَ الشَّفْرَةِ إِلَى سَنَامِ الْبَعِيرِ»
