English translation
3359. It was narrated that 'Ali said: "I made some food and called the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ (to come and eat). He came and saw some images in the house, so he went back." (Sahih)

3359 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: صَنَعْتُ طَعَامًا، فَدَعَوْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «فَجَاءَ فَرَأَى فِي الْبَيْتِ، تَصَاوِيرَ، فَرَجَعَ»
