English translation

3369. It was narrated that Talhah said: "I entered upon the Prophet ﷺ and in his hand was some quince. He said: "Take it, O Talhah, for it soothes the heart." (Da'if)

Arabic text

3369 - حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّلْحِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا نُقَيْبُ بْنُ حَاجِبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الزُّبَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: وَبِيَدِهِ سَفَرْجَلَةٌ فَقَالَ: «دُونَكَهَا، يَا طَلْحَةُ، فَإِنَّهَا تُجِمُّ الْفُؤَادَ»
