English translation

3405. It was narrated from Ibn Buraidah from his father that the Prophet ﷺ said: "I used to forbid you to use certain vessels, but now make Nabidh in them, but avoid all intoxicants." (Sahih)

Arabic text

3405 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَيَانٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُخَيْمِرَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الْأَوْعِيَةِ، فَانْتَبِذُوا فِيهِ، وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ»
