English translation

3493. It was narrated that Jābir said: "Ubayy bin Ka'b fell sick, and the Prophet ﷺ sent a doctor to him who cauterized him on his medial arm vein." (Sahih)

Arabic text

3493 - حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: «مَرِضَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ مَرَضًا، فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، طَبِيبًا، فَكَوَاهُ عَلَى أَكْحَلِهِ»
