356. It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet ﷺ used to wash his private parts three times. Ibn 'Umar said: "We did that and we found it to be a healing and a means of purification." (Da'if) Another chain with similar wording.
356 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الصِّدِّيقِ النَّاجِيِّ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «كَانَ يَغْسِلُ مَقْعَدَتَهُ ثَلَاثًا» قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: فَعَلْنَاهُ، فَوَجَدْنَاهُ دَوَاءً وَطُهُورًا " قَالَ: أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعيْمٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ نَحْوَهُ
