English translation

3901. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Whoever sees me in a dream has (really) seen me, for Satan cannot appear in my form." (Sahih)

Arabic text

3901 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْوَانَ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَقَدْ رَآنِي، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَتَمَثَّلُ بِي»
