The trumpet used to be made from the horn of animals. The angel has a horn, and when he blows it on the order of Allāh all the creatures will fall dead. And when he blows it again all the creatures will resurrect once again, and the Day of the Hour appears. (See: Surat Az-Zumar 39: 38)
