'It is a part of you' means that just as touching any other part of your body does not invalidate the ablution, touching this organ also does not invalidate it. The Hadith narrated by Talq ﷺ is undoubtedly a sound one, but the ruling was subsequently abrogated. Some of the scholars have justified both the Ahādith by saying that the one that rules out the invalidation of ablution speaks of touching the part if it is covered by a cloth, while the other speaks of invalidation if it is touched while uncovered.
