Commentary

a. Ablution performed for one prayer if intact, is valid for any number of obligatory and voluntary prayers. b. An ablution performed for one prayer even though intact, can be refreshed before another prayer. This action, i.e., making a fresh ablution during the validity of the previous one, is also proved from the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
