English translation

769. It was narrated that 'Abdullâh bin Mughaffal Al-Muzani said: "The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Perform prayer in the sheep's resting-places and do not perform prayer in the camels' resting-places, for they were created from the devils.'" (Hasan)

Arabic text

769 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صَلُّوا فِي مَرَابِضِ الْغَنَمِ، وَلَا تُصَلُّوا فِي أَعْطَانِ الْإِبِلِ، فَإِنَّهَا خُلِقَتْ مِنَ الشَّيَاطِينِ»

Commentary

'Camels being created from the devils' means they are mischievous by nature.
