887. Uqbah bin ‘Āmir Al-Juhani said: “When the following was revealed: ‘So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great’,[1] the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to us: ‘Say this in your Ruku’.” And when the following was revealed: ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High’,[2] the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to us: ‘Say this in your prostrations.’” (Sahih)
887 - حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ الْغَافِقِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمِّي إِيَاسَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ، يَقُولُ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ {فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ} [الواقعة: 74] ، قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اجْعَلُوهَا فِي رُكُوعِكُمْ» فَلَمَّا نَزَلَتْ: {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى} [الأعلى: 1] ، قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «اجْعَلُوهَا فِي سُجُودِكُمْ»
