Text and translation

English translation

965. It was narrated from 'Ali that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Do not crack your fingers during the prayer." (Da'if)

Arabic text

965 - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، وَإِسْرَائِيلُ بْنُ يُونُسُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا تُفَقِّعْ أَصَابِعَكَ وَأَنْتَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ»
