English translation

[1124] 254 - (504) It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbâs said: "I came riding on a female donkey, and at that time I was on the brink of adolescence. The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ was leading the people in prayer in Minâ. I passed in front of the row, and I dismounted and sent the donkey to graze, and I joined the row, and no one rebuked me for that."

254 - (504) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: أَقْبَلْتُ رَاكِبًا عَلَى أَتَانٍ وَأَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ قَدْ نَاهَزْتُ الِاحْتِلَامَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ بِمِنًى» فَمَرَرْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الصَّفِّ، فَنَزَلْتُ فَأَرْسَلْتُ الْأَتَانَ تَرْتَعُ وَدَخَلْتُ فِي الصَّفِّ، فَلَمْ يُنْكِرْ ذَلِكَ عَلَيَّ أَحَدٌ
