Text and translation

English translation

[1240] 63 - (...) It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet ﷺ had a black garment which had markings, and it used to distract him when he was offering Ṣalât, so he gave it to Abû Jahm and took an Anbijânî garment of his. [1] The popular view is that it is a thick type of cloak with no markings on it, and that its name is derived from a place called Anbijân.
