[1485] 254 - (652) It wasnarrated from 'Abdullâh that theProphet ﷺ said concerning somepeople who stayed away fromFriday prayer: "I was thinking ofordering a man to lead thepeople in prayer, then I wouldburn down the houses of menwho stay away from Fridayprayer, with them inside."
254 - (652) وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ: «لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ، ثُمَّ أُحَرِّقَ عَلَى رِجَالٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ بُيُوتَهُمْ»
