English translation
[1585] 14 - (...) It was narrated from Ibn As-Simṭ (a Hadīth similar to no 1584), but he did not mention Shuraḥbil. He said: "He went to some land called Dūmīn, eighteen miles from Himself."

14 - (692) وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، وَقَالَ عَنِ ابْنِ السِّمْطِ، وَلَمْ يُسَمِّ شُرَحْبِيلَ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ أَتَى أَرْضًا يُقَالُ لَهَا دُومِينَ مِنْ حِمْصَ عَلَى رَأْسِ ثَمَانِيَةَ عَشَرَ مِيلًا
