English translation

[1680] 89 - (...) It was narrated from Sālim, from his father: "Hāfṣah told me that when dawn appeared, the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ would pray two Rak'ah."

Arabic text

89 - (723) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَخْبَرَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ إِذَا أَضَاءَ لَهُ الْفَجْرُ، صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ»
