[1917] 283 - (...) It was narrated that Ibrâhîm said: "'Alqamah came to Ash-Shâm and entered a Masjid and prayed. Then he went to a circle (assembly) and sat in it. Then a man came and sat beside me, and he said: 'Did you memorize Qur'ân as 'Abdullâh recited it?...” And he mentioned something similar (no. 1917).
283 - (824) وحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: أَتَى عَلْقَمَةُ الشَّامَ، فَدَخَلَ مَسْجِدًا فَصَلَّى فِيهِ، ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى حَلْقَةٍ فَجَلَسَ فِيهَا، قَالَ: فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَعَرَفْتُ فِيهِ تَحَوُّشَ الْقَوْمِ وَهَيْئَتَهُمْ، قَالَ: فَجَلَسَ إِلَى جَنْبِي، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَتَحْفَظُ كَمَا كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يَقْرَأُ، فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِهِ
