English translation

[1952] 2 - (...) It was narrated from 'Abdullâh bin 'Umar that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said, while he was standing on the Minbar: "Whoever among you comes to Jumu'ah, let him perform Ghusl."

Arabic text

2 - (844) حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ: «مَنْ جَاءَ مِنْكُمُ الْجُمُعَةَ، فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ».
