English translation
[1968] 12 - (...) It was narrated from Abû Hurairah that the Prophet ﷺ said: "If you say to your companion: 'Listen attentively' on a Friday, while the Imâm is delivering the Khutbah, then you have engaged in idle speech."

12 - (851) وحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ: أَنْصِتْ، يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ، فَقَدْ لَغِيتَ " قَالَ أَبُو الزِّنَادِ: هِيَ لُغَةُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَإِنَّمَا هُوَ: «فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ»
