[1996] 35 - (...) It was narrated that Simâk said: "Jâbir bin Samurah told me: 'The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ used to deliver the Khutbah standing, then he would sit. Then he would stand up and deliver (another) Khutbah standing. Whoever told you that he used to deliver the Khutbah sitting was lying. By Allâh, I prayed with him more than two thousand times.'"
35 - (862) وحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا، ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ، ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا، فَمَنْ نَبَّأَكَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ جَالِسًا فَقَدْ كَذَبَ، فَقَدْ وَاللهِ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَلْفَيْ صَلَاةٍ»
