[2016] 53 - (874) It was narrated from Ḥusain that 'Umârah bin Ru'aibah saw Bishr bin Marwân on the Minbar raising his hands. He said: "How ugly are these two hands. I saw the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ doing no more than this with his hand," and he pointed with his index finger.
53 - (874) وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ رُؤَيْبَةَ، قَالَ: رَأَى بِشْرَ بْنَ مَرْوَانَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ رَافِعًا يَدَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: «قَبَّحَ اللهُ هَاتَيْنِ الْيَدَيْنِ، لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا يَزِيدُ عَلَى أَنْ يَقُولَ بِيَدِهِ هَكَذَا، وَأَشَارَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ الْمُسَبِّحَةِ».
