[2269] (...) A Hadīth similar to that of Ibn Mahdī (no. 2268) was narrated from Ismā'il bin Umayyah with this chain.

(979) وحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ،
