[2316] 43 - (...) It was narrated that Anas said: "When this verse was revealed - By no means shall you attain Al-Birr...[2] - Abû Talhah said: 'I see that our Lord is asking us for some of our wealth. Bear witness, O Messenger of Allâh, that I am giving my land Bairahâ' for the sake of Allâh.' The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: 'Give it to your relatives.' So he shared it between Hassân bin Thâbit and Ubayy bin Ka'b."
43 - (998) حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ: {لَنْ تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّى تُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ} [آل عمران: 92]، قَالَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ: أَرَى رَبَّنَا يَسْأَلُنَا مِنْ أَمْوَالِنَا، فَأُشْهِدُكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَنِّي قَدْ جَعَلْتُ أَرْضِي بَرِيحَا لِلَّهِ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اجْعَلْهَا فِي قَرَابَتِكَ» قَالَ: فَجَعَلَهَا فِي حَسَّانَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَأُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ
