English translation

[2466] (...) It was narrated that 'Abîdah said: "I only tell you what I heard from him." Then he narrated from 'Alî a Hadîth similar to that of Ayyûb (no. 2464).

(1066) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، قَالَ: لَا أُحَدِّثُكُمْ إِلَّا مَا سَمِعْتُ مِنْهُ، فَذَكَرَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ أَيُّوبَ مَرْفُوعًا
