Text and translation

English translation

[2588] 74 - (1108) It was narrated from 'Amr bin Abî Salamah that he asked the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ: "May the fasting person kiss (his wife)?" The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: “Ask this one” - meaning Umm Salamah - and she told him that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ did that. He said: “O Messenger of Allâh, Allâh has forgiven you your past and future sins.” The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said to him: “By Allâh, I am the one who is the most pious and fears Allâh the most among you.”
