English translation
[2683] 147 - (1144) It was narrated that Abû Hurairah [may Allâh be pleased with them] said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: 'None of you should fast on Friday, unless he fasts (a day) before it or after it.'"

147 - (1144) وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَصُمْ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَصُومَ قَبْلَهُ، أَوْ يَصُومَ بَعْدَهُ»
