English translation

[2731] 183 - (...) It was narrated from Yahyā bin Abī Kathīr with this chain (a Hadīth similar to no. 2730), and after the words "three days of every month" he added: "For every good deed you will have a tenfold reward, so that is like an entire lifetime." And he said in the Hadīth: "What is the fast of Dāwūd the Prophet of Allāh?" He said: "Half a lifetime." And he did not mention in the Hadīth anything about reciting Qur'ān, and he did not say: "Your guests have a right over you," but he said: "Your child has a right over you."
