English translation

[2914] 115 - (...) It was narrated that 'Aishah [may Allâh be pleased with her] said: "We set out with the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ for the Farewell Pilgrimage, near the time of the appearance of the crescent of Dhul-Hijjah. The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: 'Whoever among you wants to enter Ihrâm for Umrah, let him do so. Were it not that I have brought the sacrificial animal with me, I would have entered Ihrâm for Umrah.' Among the people there were some who entered Ihrâm for Umrah, and some who entered Ihrâm for Hajj. I was one of those who entered Ihrâm for Umrah. We set out until we came to Makkah, but on the Day of 'Arafah my menses began, and I did not exit Ihrâm for my Umrah. I complained about that to the Prophet ﷺ and he said: 'Forget about your Umrah. Undo your hair and comb it, and enter Ihrâm for Hajj.' She said: 'I did that, then when it was the night of Al-Ḥaṣbah, and Allāh had enabled us to complete our Hajj, he sent 'Abdur-Raḥmān bin Abī Bakr with me. He made me ride behind him and he took me out to At-Tan'īm, and I entered Ihrâm for Umrah, and Allāh enabled us to complete our Hajj and our Umrah.'" "And there was no sacrifice, charity or fasting required because of that."[1]

115 - (1211) وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، مُوَافِينَ لِهِلَالِ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ، قَالَتْ: فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَرَادَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يُهِلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ فَلْيُهِلَّ، فَلَوْلَا أَنِّي أَهْدَيْتُ لَأَهْلَلْتُ بِعُمْرَةٍ» قَالَتْ: فَكَانَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ، قَالَتْ: فَكُنْتُ أَنَا مِمَّنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ، فَخَرَجْنَا حَتَّى قَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ، فَأَدْرَكَنِي يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ، لَمْ أَحِلَّ مِنْ عُمْرَتِي، فَشَكَوْتُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: «دَعِي عُمْرَتَكِ، وَانْقُضِي رَأْسَكِ وَامْتَشِطِي، وَأَهِلِّي بِالْحَجِّ» قَالَتْ: فَفَعَلْتُ، فَلَمَّا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةُ الْحَصْبَةِ وَقَدْ قَضَى اللهُ حَجَّنَا، أَرْسَلَ مَعِي عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، فَأَرْدَفَنِي وَخَرَجَ بِي إِلَى التَّنْعِيمِ، فَأَهْلَلْتُ بِعُمْرَةٍ، فَقَضَى اللهُ حَجَّنَا وَعُمْرَتَنَا، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ فِي ذَلِكَ هَدْيٌ وَلَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَا صَوْمٌ
