[2993] 183 - (...) This narration was narrated from Nāfi', from Ibn 'Umar, but he only mentioned the Prophet ﷺ at the beginning of the Hadīth, when it was said to him: "You will be prevented from reaching the House." He said: "Then I will do what the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ did." And it does not say at the end of the Hadīth: "This is what the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ did," as Al-Laith said (in no. 2992).
183 - (1230) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ح وحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، بِهَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا فِي أَوَّلِ الْحَدِيثِ حِينَ قِيلَ لَهُ يَصُدُّوكَ عَنِ الْبَيْتِ، قَالَ: إِذَنْ أَفْعَلَ كَمَا فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي آخِرِ الْحَدِيثِ: هَكَذَا فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَمَا ذَكَرَهُ اللَّيْثُ
